Charmaine is a clinician in-private practice and a part-time faculty at a local community college. She is a graduate of the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois where she received her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology. Charmaine is a member of the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology, and she applies the principles of Adlerian Psychology in her private practice.
As a volunteer, Charmaine has been a board member and chair of the education and community awareness committee of the Body Image Coalition of Peel, a distress centre, a community mental health organization and a youth shelter. Charmaine has also volunteered as a member of the board at her church and worked with the victim assistance unit of the police service.
