With the sweltering temperatures in the country over the past couple of weeks, this article in Psychology Today seems fitting. A recent study found empirical evidence of mental health risks posed by climate change. The article noted that Ashlee Cunsolo, a health researcher at Memorial University in Newfoundland and Labrador, who studies climate change and mental health among Canada’s Indigenous populations and Australian farmers, says the results resemble what she’s seen in her own work.
