We live in a multicultural country rich with learning and growing. Sadly, not everyone thinks about embracing other cultures. As a result, racism is still an issue in Canada and around the world. Here are six things that you can do:
(1) Learn more about racism and discrimination
(2) Continue to discuss racism with family and friends
(3) When you see injustice, say something
(4) Teach your children to be kind and respect human rights
(5) Listen to the stories of Black individuals who experience racism daily
(6) Stand up on racism
Let us strive for racial harmony and equality in creating a world with inclusivity.
